This is my Grandad's, now my Dad's Deutz 5506.  My Grandad bought it nearly new back in 1974 in Gurley, AL at a Deutz dealership that was once located there.  This has been one dependable tractor.  We have been thoroughly impressed with the aircooled diesel engine.  It is a 4 cyl. with about 59 horsepower.  It will walk away with a 3-bottom plow.  Grandad ground a lot of feed with it too back in the day.  It has never given any trouble except the starter has had to be reworked a few times and the alternator has been replaced once.

This is our Kubota L2550.  It has about 30 horsepower and is powered by a small 3 cyl. diesel.  This has been a great tractor too.  It was bought new in 1985.  We've used it for bushhogging, pushing a box blade, plowing, tilling, and mowing.

This tractor belongs to my Father-in-law.  It is FOR SALE.  John Deere 2640.  It has side mount mower with Hydraulic 17 foot outreach arm and 5 foot cutter on the end.  This outfit is like what the county crews use for roads and ditches.  (Mow-Trim Model # 1590)  It runs and works well.  He's asking $9,500.
